I cannot recommend Shirley strongly enough, her treatments have made a huge difference to me..
I have been having a monthly MOT with Anne-Marie for a few years now and her expertise is amazing. She knows her stuff!
Shirley studied at the Manchester Royal Infirmary School of Physiotherapy and graduated in 1981. Post-graduation, Shirley has worked at private clinics in Jersey and Australia and at the Jersey General Hospital. In London she worked in the NHS at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and at the Middlesex and Royal National Orthopaedic and National Temperance Hospitals as a senior physiotherapist.
Shirley has attended many hours of post graduate training in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and completed a 3-year part-time post graduate qualification to become a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Shirley enjoys working with a wide variety of patients including those with neck, back, hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, and elbow pain and post orthopaedic surgery.
Anne-Marie qualified from the University of brighten with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2001. She worked in the UK in a variety of clinical settings before returning to Jersey in 2005.
Anne Marie finds biomechanical and movement assessment particularly useful in helping to identify the root cause of a patient’s problem and enjoys incorporating a wide range of techniques including acupuncture, trigger point release, mobilisation, electrotherapy and exercise rehabilitation. Anne-Marie treats a wide range of acute and chronic injuries but particularly enjoys challenging cases of plantar fasciitis and piriformis syndrome.
Anne Marie also has extensive training and experience in Physiotherapy Pilates and enjoys teaching tailored Pilates exercise in both small group and in 1 on 1 classes.

“I had back and neck pain causing stiffness headaches and sleepless nights. After treatment the pain stiffness and headaches have reduced significantly. My everyday life has become much more comfortable (work and exercise). I also sleep better which has improved my mood and my energy levels. I’m very grateful for the treatment I have received..
Every practitioner treats differently, even within professions. Our extensive experience, combined with our unique and comprehensive approach means we often find success treating patients for whom other therapies have failed.
Unfortunately patients with long-standing or complex complaints are often told that there is nothing that can be done for them. However, this is not always the case. We have seen many, many patients (including those with arthritis, after surgeries or with chronic histories of pain) who have been told just that, but with a thorough assessment, targeted treatments and a little hard work it’s very rare that we do not see improvement.
Patients may, occasionally, experience some soreness, stiffness or aching, just as they might after exercise. Soreness is typically mild and usually fades within 24 hours.
Yes. All treatments at Dynamic Health are extremely safe. Physiotherapy has an excellent safety record and any associated treatment risks are very small.
A doctor’s referral isn’t necessary although we do find that many of our patients are referred for treatment by their GP. If you are referred by your GP or consultant please bring with you a copy of the referral letter and the written report of any X-ray or MRI related to your injury.
We like to keep things simple. We don’t sell packages or programs. You will only pay for treatment you receive. See the pricing page for more details.
