PhysioPilates
Physiotherapy led 1 to 1 Pilates in Jersey, CI
Pilates is a method of rehabilitation and conditioning developed by the late Joseph Pilates. It uses specific exercises to strengthen and improve the co-ordination of the deep core stabilising muscles as well as improving overall flexibility.
PhysioPilates at Dynamic Health Jersey combines traditional Pilates exercise with Physiotherapy expertise – creating specific, structured, and safe progressions for patients recovering from pain and injury.
Physiotherapists’ extensive training in anatomy, biomechanics and pain means that traditional Pilates exercise can be tailored specifically for you and your complaint. Under their watchful eye exercises can be progressed safely until you can confidently transition to a group class or a home program.
Who is it for?
PhysioPilates is perfect for patients looking for extra guidance with their exercise rehabilitation, including:
- Patients with acute or chronic pain that find exercise difficult.
- Patients that have struggled in group classes.
- Patients looking to speed up their recovery and/ or prevent reinjury.
- Patients with significant strength and/or mobility deficits.
How does it work?
- Assessment – All new clients are taken through an initial assessment to identify key weak links and goals.
- Personalised Plan – A specific program is then created to address the deficits identified in the assessment.
- Training – Patients attend 30 minute 1 to 1 classes where you will be taken through your specific exercises under the close supervision of the physiotherapist. Patients will also have access to their program online allowing them you to practice key exercise at home if you wish (find out more below)
- Reassessment – You will be reviewed regularly throughout the classes to ensure you are making progress towards your goals.
PhysioPilates at Home
Patients will also be able to access their program online via Physitrack. Physitrack provides HD narrated videos of the key exercises from your specific program as well as additional educational content so you can truly make the most from your 1 to 1 Pilates sessions.
